With Two-Year Revenue Growth More Than Double, Allegiant Utility Services Ranks No. 87 on Inc. Magazine’s List of the Southwest Region’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 Regionals Southwest list had an average growth rate of 154% percent.

Manor, Texas, May 3, 2022 Inc. magazine recently revealed that Allegiant Utility Services is No. 87 on its third annual Inc. 5000 Regionals Southwest list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies based in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the Southwest region economy’s most dynamic segment–its independent small businesses.

“I credit much of Allegiant’s strength and growth to our tremendous team who was able to pivot amid industry-wide supply chain challenges and expand our offerings to help utilities provide uninterrupted service to their customers,” Jeffrey DeVries, CEO of Allegiant Utility Services. To achieve this record growth, Allegiant has continued to diversify their offerings as they did in 2020 with a focus on renewed meters to meet their customer’s needs in a complex environment of supply chain shortages and shifting timelines. They’ve continued adding value to their customer base by expanding their Field Services offerings in 2022 as Utilities continue to face worker shortages and hiring challenges. Their strong relationship with their customers has allowed them to meet their evolving demands while also significantly growing their nationwide base.

The companies on this list show a remarkable rate of growth across all industries in the Southwest region. Between 2018 and 2020, these 141 private companies had an average growth rate of 154% percent and, in 2020 alone, they added 10,563 jobs and nearly $10.9 billion to the Southwest region’s economy. Companies based in the Austin, Texas, Scottsdale, Arizona, and Fort Worth, Texas, areas had the highest growth rate overall.

Allegiant’s growth in the Southwest has been mirrored throughout the U.S. “We have people and resources nationwide that we leverage and deploy in our customer’s local market in a variety of ways. This allows us to strategically align our teams providing a customized solution to our customer’s unique business and objectives,” Mark Kodet, COO of Allegiant Utility Services.

Complete results of the Inc. 5000 Regionals Southwest, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, metro area, and other criteria, can be found at inc.com/southwest starting March 15, 2022.

“This year’s Inc. 5000 Regional winners represent one of the most exceptional and exciting lists of America’s off-the-charts growth companies. They’re disrupters and job creators, and all delivered an outsize impact on the economy. Remember their names and follow their lead. These are the companies you’ll be hearing about for years to come,” says Scott Omelianuk, editor-in-chief of Inc.
